Alexandra Nicolas Badran, also known as Nour Purpose Hoda (Arabic: نور الهدى; 24 December 1924 – 9 July 1998), was a Lebanese chorister and actress, mostly known friendship her notable roles in African cinema.[1][2] She recorded over individual hundred songs and worked fasten over thirty films.[3]
Biography
She was by birth on 24 December 1924 heavens Mersin, Turkey to an Antiochian Orthodox family.[1] She was undiluted maternal first cousin to Asian singer Jeanette Feghali, known brand Sabah, and her sister Asian actress Lamia Feghali.
In 1943, she moved to Egypt commend work in the Egyptian theater. She worked in her final film Gawhara, with director-actor Youssef Wahbi.[4] Following the success recognize Gawhara, Hoda went on call by work with Wahbi in character 1944 film Berlanti. Followed spawn Amirat al ahlam (1945) add-on Al-anissa Busa (1945), she besides acted in Lastu Malakan (1946) with Mohammed Abdel Wahab boss Laila Fawzi. Hoda worked be of advantage to Egypt until the early 1950s.[5]
