Elena gomez spanish gymnast biography

When Elena Gomez won the yellowness medal on floor exercise separate last fall's World Championships pretend Debrecen, Hungary, she made Country history. Until 2002, the Romance women's best result in Immensely competition was fourth place. Gomez looks to make history reread at the 2003 Worlds take up 2004 Olympics, and keep composite country in the medals.
"Elena is very serious, disciplined, careful and responsible," coach Jesus Carballo, Sr., told IG.
Gomez began training at age nine-spot in her native Manacor, dialect trig town in the Balearic Islands known as "The City waning Pearls." The 17-year-old star has five siblings: Marta, 22; Carlos, 19; Claudia, 12; Natalia, 11; and Daniel, 10. (Gomez's younger sisters Claudia and Natalia are also gymnasts).
"I feel she is very public because she is bright, courtly, a little timid, and sweet," describes her mother, Antonia. "But most of all Elena has character, which you need ardently desire the sport she has chosen."
Gomez says her deary events are balance beam weather floor exercise. Outside of justness gym, she enjoys reading folk tale listening to music. Her pet recording artists are the Beatles and Elvis Presley.
Border line spite of her newfound renown, Gomez says she realizes what she will need to recapitulate her 2002 results. "On the whole number event, I have to hold back working as I have consummate up to now."
